Stern's connection with standout wide receiver Gibson Comstock has also given Coeur d'Alene one of the most explosive quarterback-receiver combinations in the state.

More Than Just a Quarterback

While Stern's numbers speak for themselves, his impact extends well beyond Friday nights. Coeur d'Alene head coach Shawn Amos praised his quarterback's character and leadership, highlighting the qualities that make him such an important part of the Vikings program.

"Tannar is a great kid and leader for our program. He is kind of an old soul so when not playing sports (also plays BB) he is fishing or hunting," Amos said.

Outside of football, Stern also competes in basketball for Coeur d'Alene. When he isn't competing, he enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. His leadership and character, combined with his performance on the field, represent the qualities Idaho Recruit Hub looks to recognize through its Player of the Month award.
